Film a walkthrough. Get a work plan.

Walk the space and say what needs work. Pick its size below for how long to film. SightWork counts what's there, finds the problems (including the ones you didn't mention), and lays out the work in order.

How big is the space?

Sets how long to film. Bigger spaces get more time.

MP4 or MOV, 60–90 s (up to 2 min)

How to film

One steady take, about 60 to 90 seconds for a medium space. Talking is optional, but it helps.

  • Walk slowly. About 1 to 2 feet a second, phone steady in both hands.

  • Lights on. Turn on the lights and open the blinds. Dark corners hide damage.

  • Stay 3 to 6 feet from walls. Close enough for detail, far enough to fit whole items.

  • Cover each area once. One pass per area, so items aren’t counted twice.

  • Name each area. Say it as you walk in, like “now the hallway.”

  • Point out problems. Say what needs work. SightWork also looks for what you don’t mention.
